“ Congee places in Hong Kong at this price point usually has stools and little tables for seating. Also, they tend to be a little dirty. This place is clean and comfortable. Amazing place at this price point. I am bookmarking this place and will come back. By the way, the congee is very good - 4.5 stars! ”

“ Tasty porridge in Hong Kong! I came in around 20:00; a few people were eating, and I didn’t wait. There were only locals in the restaurant. I had a fish and chicken porridge, and it was perfect. I added some sesame sauce, and it was even better. The plate was not that big, but I had enough of a portion of it alone. Everyone seemed to be ordering the noodle rolls. I should try for the next time. The staff was unfriendly and even threw the order receipt on the table ... I guess it was because I didn’t speak their language. ”

I arrived around 9 AM and was pleasantly surprised — the wait was only about 15 minutes. The restaurant’s management is quite impressive: they handle queues efficiently, take orders quickly, and food is served promptly in order. I ordered the abalone and fish fillets congee. It was genuinely delicious — the fish was fresh with no unpleasant smell or bones, and the abalone was wonderfully chewy and fragrant. The congee itself was smooth and flavourful. For those who like stronger seasoning, you might want to add a bit of soy sauce. My bf had the “Champion”, the restaurant’s signature dish, and it looked fantastic — the liver was cooked perfectly, tender and springy. He finished the whole bowl. In short, this place is absolutely worth queuing for. Traditional flavours, generous portions of fish and meat (not just rice!), and a satisfying, authentic taste. I will definitely queue again. ”
